Core Java Developer:

Currently working on Development project primarily focused on Core Java. Have a sound knowledge in Scripting languages namely Perl and Shell Scripting along with DBMS (Oracle and Sybase) as well.

The PARA technology group develops and maintains the PARA system, which is one of the key systems in the firm, responsible for calculating the firm’s “official” profit-and-loss and reporting it to a wide variety of business users, senior management, and regulators. The PARA system processes the entire firm’s trading activity across the vast majority of product.

Project Details:

Autosys Assist

This project deals with development of a tool, to be used by the Production Engineers in order to monitor and send events to Autosys batch jobs. This tool basically implements a web UI tool, that the batch team can use to send events to autosys jobs for their daily batch activities.

The main motive of the project is to reduce the number of production log ins, by providing a web based tool, only the necessary details are abstracted out for the batch team reducing the risk factor.

Key responsibilities include writing and maintaining Core Java Code for the new implementations of the tool once the design and other details are ready. My role demands me to be able to do bug fixing and testing as well.

Highly exposed to core fundamentals of Java, OOP, multithreading, and collections.
