PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Senior Therapeutic Specialist Representative

Responsible for developing and managing the GTA territory with the goal of maximizing sales for 3 products (Copaxone for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Azilect for Parkinson’s Disease (PD), and Frovatriptan for migraines).

Reached 112% of a personal sales target for Copaxone (2012), and reached a 1.3% increase in market share to 36%, and 5.8% overall MS growth versus 3% MS market growth, applying several key strategies:

Used sales trends and doctor level data to focus on certain physicians and postal codes.

Covered whichever territories were needed, ultimately creating new territories and covering the entire GTA, during a colleague’s maternity leave, handling all meetings and recruitment for programs. Demonstrated flexibility, versatility, motivation and positive energy.

Participated in the first, highly anticipated, MS Society of Northern Ontario MS Patient Awareness day. Shared patient educational material with patients with limited access to care, inspiring hope for impending care and advancements. This relationship continues.

Maintained Copaxone sales target of 115% and 32% market share (2013 and 2014), despite the introduction of oral MS drugs, due to:

Continued focus on MS physicians’ and local societies’ needs with selectively sponsoring ECTRIMS, providing patient educational grants to societies, supplying educational materials, communicating weekly, and most importantly, sharing a positive attitude.

Provided CME Neurology Summits (with the highest turnout from Ontario), and educational opportunities.

Strategically focussed on Mississauga and Oakville, based on prescribing data and market share of MS therapies. Sponsored KOLs at ECTRIMS, and invited them to TEVA's summits and annual neurology practicum. Attended early morning neurology rounds weekly to build relationships in person and instantly fulfill any expressed needs.

Grew Azilect greater than 4 times that of the PD market, achieved top sales in the region, and brought Azilect share to #2 in Ontario. Identified and leveraged key opportunities:

Initiated ongoing sponsorship and attendance at the Ontario Long Term Care Physicians’ annual conference.

Created the annual PD Summit for neurologists and built a relationship with a new leading neurologist.

Educated TEVA sales, product manager, and interested GPs on the realities of PD by sharing personal and professional experiences with the disease.

Exceeded sales targets for Frovatriptan, identifying and then partnering with CPM (Centres for Pain Management) in sponsoring their annual Canadian meeting, for three years running, while introducing a key product supporter as a key speaker.
