Projects

GS Techno Inc. New Hyde Park, NY August 2014 to Present

Jr. Java/J2EE Developer

Description: The application was developed to provide better service to the customers and helpful to the company maintaining and record keeping of various projects and upcoming

requirements. The records can be accessed anytime, anywhere, instantly, with recently

updated information of all the construction projects and requirements. This application is

developed using a leading edge object oriented, distributed, middleware technology in a three- tier architecture.

Responsibilities

Implement multi-tier MVC-like architecture utilizing J2EE components such as

JSPs, Servlets, stateless Session EJBs, JMS, JDBC, JNDI, Connection Pools,

oracle 11g.

Developed middle tier using Session Bean, Entity Bean and presentation layer

made use of JSP.

Implemented the required Java Beans used by the JSP components.

Wrote a customized error page with dynamic error message display. Wrote

Customize exception classes for handling and informing Business exceptions.

Customized Jasper Reports and SQL procedures according to the client

requirements.

Developed Application controllers, Business and Data service modules for the web

applications.

Involving in Building the modules in Linux environment with Ant Script. Also involved in Design, Development and Testing.

Used Eclipse IDE for designing, coding and developing applications.

Contributed to project by working on end to end flow - developing JSP's for front

end, by developing Servlets, BO classes in middle tier and to database front by writing various SQL queries and Stored Procedures.

Environment: Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript, GWT, JDBC, XML, Oracle 11g, Log4j,

Windows XP, Unix/Linux.

Research Foundation of State University of New York, Stony Brook, NY

Research assistant September 2011 to August 2014

Description: The purpose of this project was to develop a prototype for a personalized asthma

monitoring device for detecting Nitric Oxide in breath. It was a collaborative project between materials science, electrical engineering and biochemistry funded by NSF-IIS #1231761, this

project aimed at developing a single exhale breath analyzer for detecting Nitric oxide which is a known biomarker for asthma. I was involved and oversaw every step of the project from materials synthesis to device embedded systems development using C and Java language.

Responsibilities

Involved in Design and development of the software and hardware integration of a

handheld single breath exhale device for disease detection.

The team at the electrical engineering department were involved in developing the hardware components of the device

Our team at the materials science and engineering department were involved in developing the sensing system and testing the device.

I wrote programs in C and java to develop interoperability between the hardware of the computer and the device.

Most programs were written in Notepad and run using command line.

A very basic GUI environment was developed, and data which was extracted from the device hardware was stored in an Oracle database which was extracted using a JDBC

connection in Java.

Finally this data was plotted using a basic GUI set up which was written in java as well.

The end results were interpreted using regression analysis and data analytics in Origin

graphing software.

Environment

Java, C, J2EE, Servlets, GUI integration, Origin Graphing software, Materials analysis tools,

COMSOL electrical analysis.
