Performed inspection activities and supported Receiving Inspection Dept. and Document Control for storage retention.

Documented Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR’s) for rejected components.

Performed a variety of tasks that directly support the incoming receiving inspection processes of components. Supported RI Documentation process while department was understaffed.

Performed inspection criteria for all levels of Battery Cell components (Single Cells, Coated Cells, and Battery packs). Performed and examined products and materials for defects and or deviations from all related specifications. Performed numerous inspections to a variety of components for example, PCB substrates, Encapsulant, Transistor NPN SOT23 Unscreened, Memory Flash and Battery S-ICD components.

Ensured that recording the results of receiving inspections through testing meet all specifications and or work instructions.

When defects are found, we notify our supervisors and or leads

Segregated the defects from the good components; sub lotted the bad and released the good components. Defects were written up on a Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR).

Measured product with Rulers, Calipers, alignment gauges, or Micrometers and Digital Comparator; See MIC.

Tested electrical devices sometimes using voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to test potential difference, current flow, and resistance

Accepted or rejected finished items

Removed all product and materials that failed to meet specifications and discuss inspection results with those responsible for products (i.e., supplier development engineers) etc.
