To whom:

I am self-motivated, hard worker, quick learner. While working in my own business, gave me the opportunity to raise my son at home working on projects, at the beginning in 1992 on the drafting table then four years later on the computer as technology became better. Every few years I bought the new program and updated the code changes to process the permits for clients in a timely manner. Currently using Acad 2012 program.

Talking with clients I was able to gather enough information to determine their needs, I would design the house, addition or remodel to their wishes. Having the knowledge of material cost and labor cost I was able to keep the project within their budget.

Even though I work alone I still count on others to complete the plans to get a permit, the engineer for calculation on beams as needed and structural lateral walls, the truss company for the roof support and spans for an open living area, and the title 24 company to determine the size of air condition unit sufficient to keep house at a certain comfortable temperature year round.

Once the plans were completed and submitted to the city or county office, I distributed sets to minimum of three licensed contractors also advised the clients to select their own contractors for other bids. I had them send the project bid directly to the owner. Once the licensed contractor was selected the permits was pulled under contractor’s company name. I was available for any questions from the contractor, during construction phase.

Ever company is different I will adjust myself to fit in with the routine of the company’s work ethics and standards. I believe in a team effort to accomplish set goals of achieving permits for the client.

When drafting is slow in the winter I enjoy working on cars, repairs or just tune-up. Previous work in the Army I worked on tank engines, diesel truck engines and fork lifts.

As a handyman I worked on bathroom, kitchen fixtures. In new construction sewer lines, rough electrical installations, finish electrical installation.
