Studied effects of varying friction &Considered Various Non-Linearity’s in FEA by completing a Non-Linear analysis project on Impact of Rail-Structure with a Rigid Wall using LS-Dyna.

Observed effects on automotive bracket under various cases of buckling loads, different Mesh Styles on Hypermesh & Abaqus. Optimized bracket in terms of mass, stress (10% reduction) by deploying Optistruct solver in Hypermesh.

Successfully perfected super plastic forming process simulation in Abaqus by employing Shell, Membrane & Rigid elements & harnessing Implicit Integration Method.

Student Intern:

Opened an investment field by creating Hydrostatic Transmission (HST) system as enhancement over conventional Gearbox of an ATV. An advanced alternative under $70 (4200 INR).

Attained performance parameters for both conventional Gearbox & HST system by exploiting knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics & SAE BAJA experience & designed 12.76% lighter HST system.

Acquired targeted performance by designing a Worm differential optimized with 45.2% mass and 20.36% space reduction.
