File Sharing Portal: January 2015

-Developed a multi-user file sharing portal using RPyC(Remote Procedure Calls in Python) and also tested it using the Amazon EC2 virtual instances.

- Designed the portal in such a way that a user can upload files, view them and also download them.

Data Visualization for Austin Restaurant Data: October 2014

-Performed intensive cleaning on the raw Austin Restaurants Data and made it ready for analysis and visualization in Tableau.

-Designed a dashboard with different visualizations, in such a way that even a person new to Austin can find a Restaurant of his desired choice and that meets all his specifications.

Data Modeling for tourism data mart: December 2014

-Designed a data model based on the requirements provided for tourism packages data mart.

-Designed the conceptual, logical and physical model using Erwin data modeling tool.

-Added the entities, attributes, definitions, examples and relationships in the model after a focused study of the requirements.

Flight landing data analysis: December 2014

-Performed a deep statistical analysis of the flight landing data in order to find the factors that are effecting the landing distance of a commercial flight.

-Developed a linear regression model depicting the effect of different explanatory variables on the predictor variable- the landing distance.

-Used SAS statistical programming language for this analysis.

Fog Computing: Mitigating Insider Data Theft attacks in the cloud: Jan 2013-May 2013

-Secured data in the cloud using decoy technology

-Returned large amount of decoy information to the malicious user, which would appear as real data.

-Decoy approach based on IEEE research paper

-Used JavaScript to implement the algorithm
