Valero Energy St. Charles Refinery - Sr. Instrument Engineer/CSE Department - February 2013 to Present (contract)

S.M.E. (subject matter expert) for API 653 Tank ProgramMajor Capital Project(s). Provided technical expertise and outside E.P.C. contractor management as multiple companies had to interface with each other and existing plant infrastructure. Liason between the refinery operations, project, and design teams. Involved with all "Phases" (2 thru 4) or "gates". Review and approval of all design packages/procurement activities.

Parkway Pipeline Project - same dutes as above.

Daily routine activites were as follows: in house EWR (Engineering Work Requests), AFE

(funding) write ups and development, small capital project scoping and management, maintenance support, M.O.C.(management of change) procedures, instrument troubleshooting/specification, DCS/CSEsupport.

Willbros Engineers (Formerly Known asWink, Inc.) - Sr. Staff Instrumentation Engineer II- January 2012 to July 2012

Instrument lead for a six month contract for Albemarle's BRU Project in Magnolia, Arkansas. As for other longer projects below, responsibilities included managing all aspects of engineering and design. Very intense in regards to metallurgy as the process dealt with high temperature, highly corrosive fluids such as bromine. Special attention was paid to exotic material selections (tantalum) in valve trims and wetted parts of coriolis meters and process seals.

Engineers and Constructors International (E.C.I.) - Sr. Associate Engineer/Project Manager - November 2006 to December 2011

Instrument lead on Basell's DLX Relocation Project. Stage 4 design of a polypropylene extruder facility. 2 year duration. Exercised final authority managing outside sub- contractor and in-house design personnel on all I/C package deliverables. Approved design changes and performed advanced technical troubleshooting when necessary. Team leader for the specification of the new Honeywell Experion DCS. ECI's on-site engineer during construction and commissioning.

Daelim/Saudi Kayan LDPE Complex Project. Provided an in-depth technical audit of Daelim's interlocks, field instrumentation, and overall project progression. Helped schedule work between the ECI Seoul and ECI Home Office Teams. Work was performed at the contractor's office in Seoul, South Korea. Plant commissioning in Saudi Arabia. Magnum Engineering and Controls - Engineering Department/Lake Charles District Manager - October 2005 to October 2006
