Community Involvement

Warren County Vicksburg Public Library, Vicksburg, MS I volunteered to be part of a 3 person team that surveyed the existing network and computer technology at the local library. We made recommendations for equipment that would support both short and long term initiatives. Funding for this project was provided by Lockheed Martin Corporation. We installed a Cisco wireless and network switching infrastructure to increase bandwidth needs. I migrated existing out of warranty servers onto a newly installed VMware virtual server. I volunteered to survey and make recommendations to upgrade the existing audio video presentation equipment for the School Board’s district meeting facility.
