Mechanical Skills

Tools

Knowledgeable in using most hand/power tools and require li t t le to no t raining with

specialty hand tools.

Experience using/calibrating hydraulic test units for pressure testing rebuilds/new

hydraulic components and some machining experience.

Some experience with fabrication/welding along with tools required to accomplish

Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes

Troubleshooting

Able to follow hydraulic f low patterns/direction and read schematics to help

Experience in hydraulic component identification, component spec. analysis and oil

sampling

Rebuilt and calibrated many hydraulic components for field use, experience in

operating HPUs (Hydraulic Power Units)

Safety

Experience using MSDS and following all facility and federal guidelines.

Able to keep oil spills to a minimum and follow EPA standards.

Knowledgeable with proper PPE usage and daily safety toolbox meetings

Nuclear Power Plant regulations experience

Worked in many different power plant locations all over the US and maintained good

communication with clients/coworkers.

Possess TWIC and class A CDL

Aircraft Hydraulic Systems Specialist, USAF

09/2008-06/2010

Learned a basic knowledge in hydraulics while in tech school

for the Air Force. Assisted in the regular maintenance and

t roubleshooting of hydraulic systems for 24, B52-H model

a ircraft while stationed at M inot AFB ND. Worked regularly

outside in temperatures between 90 and -50 degrees F.

Honorable discharge and able to provide DD-214 if needed.

Repaired/assembled, maintained, calibrated and tested
