Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) Consultant

Provide leadership and functional guidance in the areas of Process Safety Management, Occupational Health, Environmental Permitting and Compliance, Waste Storage, Handling & Distribution, Workers Compensation, Contamination Prevention, and Security. Guide continuous improvement in these areas so that VMS can achieve its goal of ZERO incidents and injuries. Procure third party vendor services, and process billing. Also responsible for delivering site training for approximately 80 personnel utilizing face-to- face, site-wide communications, and DuPont’s E-Learning Management System.

CONSOLIDATED EDISON OF NEW YORK, INC. 1992 to 2013

EH&S Manager (59th Street Generating Station) 2011 to 2013

Led EH&S day-to-day operations in a 110 year old facility, with 85 employees, two high pressure boilers, three package boilers, one 17 MW gas turbine, a dual barge facility capable of storing two million gallons of oil.

Pivotal in managing the station safety program which resulted in over 3 years without an OSHA Lost Time Accident and over 1 year without a Recordable Accident.

Ensured section worked within its operating budget, and found ways of doing so in an economical manner resulting in cost savings.
