Currently, THD policy requires that the Real Estate Executive Committee (REEC) review and approve all real estate transactions (new lease, purchase, relocation, etc.). The process is time consuming and lends little visibility to users needing to know status. There is no defined process in place detailing who is involved in the deal evaluation process prior to REEC submission. Often times the process is stalled due to approvers being unavailable and decentralized within the process.

A solution which incorporates automated workflow will help to make the approval process faster than it is today. The ability to store every deal that goes into the system will help ensure that no details are lost if a deal is stalled and must be re-initiated at a later date.
