Project experience:

Diploma Project

Title: PLC based vending machine

Description:

In this project the system accepts the token and dispenses the product which we press. The inputs are controlled through Programmable Logic controller (PLC). The output of the PLC will actuate the corresponding valve for few minutes according to the respective push button pressed.

Engineering project

Title: An Anti Accidental Security System for Unmanned Railway Crossing

Description:

In this project when the train comes near the pole the vehicles automatically stopped. The transmitter HT12E is placed in train. It transmits the signal continuously. The transceiver is placed in pole. When the train comes near the pole the receiver HT12D receives the signal and the transmitter TX-2B transmits this signal. The receiver RX-2B is placed in vehicle and its receives the signal. The vehicle automatically stopped. When the train moves away from pole the vehicle automatically starts.

Description:

It is a coal based power plant. The powdered coal from the coal mills is carried to the boiler in coal pipes by high pressure hot air. Water is converted to steam in the boiler and steam is separated from water in the boiler Drum. The saturated steam from the boiler drum is taken to the Super heater. The superheated steam is taken to the High Pressure Steam Turbine (HPT).In the HPT the steam pressure is utilized to rotate the turbine and the resultant is rotational energy. The rotational energy imparted to the turbine by high pressure steam is converted to electrical energy in the Generator.
