1)FINALYEARPROJECT: SELF OPENING DIE HEAD

Duration - 1 year

The Objective of the project to design, cost estimation and study working process of Self Opening Die Head

Self Opening Die Head is used for high volume production of threaded parts in single feed by using chasers operated through springs.

Tangential as well as rolled threads can be produced by changing the type of chasers being used.

Both left hand side as well as right hand side threads can be produced with ease.

The die head does not require to set and reset manually due to pressure system included in the assembly.

2)THIRD YEARPROJECT:

A.“Design Of Gear Box Used For Crane”

Team size – 3

Duration - 6 months

We design a gear box which can be used in cranes to lift a load up to 1500 kg.In this gear box, spur gear is used having presser angle 20 degree. The service factor is 1.25.

It is a 3 stage reduction gear box.

B.“Design Of Friction Plate Clutch”

Duration - 6 months

We design a friction plate clutch which can transmit apower of 350 N.m. It consists of shaft, hub, friction plate, spring, nut, and bolt. It can be used in buses, Trucks etc.
