Selected Achievements

Developed changes in inventory system to improve cycle count accuracy of 93% which affected customer service. Made process changes to assure that parts and assemblies received into the computer was also available on the shelf by first thing in AM. Cycle count accuracy increased to over 98%.

Designed new training methods that got new employees up to speed more quickly, and empowered existing employees to handle more responsibilities in an operation that sales were growing three fold. Accomplish greater productivity during the period that sales grew from $6M to $18M annually with adding only one additional person.

Increased the profits of this division through gradual structured pricing changes, re-engineering of processes to reduce expenses and variable costs and increasing customer contract percentages at renewal. Profits increased from 19% to over 21% in the first 18 months.

Successfully moved and merged an industrial supply business with an electrical supply business after engineering a systematic process to accomplish this without affecting distribution, sales or administration. Created a new company and company culture that was immediately profitable.

Authored a new pricing spreadsheet with over 103K sku’s. Developed a pricing matrix that would be utilized to determine customer pricing based on their size. The new spreadsheets made the sales people more productive because they trusted the system.

Expanded the network of contract manufacturers in China allowing the company to achieve a 100% sales growth in 3 years.
