Anas Al-Tirawi

Sharepoint Administrator/Developer

8 people have recommended Anas

"Anas is a solid Sharepoint admin who has worked hard to improve his technical and interpersonal skills in the last year. He has grown and embraced ITIL and other processes to vastly improve the Sharepoint stability at VWGoA. His greatest skill is openness to change in a complex technical and political environment a person while maintaining a consistent standard. Without this skill Anas would have failed at the job due to the conflicting requests he constantly received. Even in these difficult situations he was professional and kept the big picture in focus, not bending to politics that would hurt the project long term. I would highly recommend Anas for large complex environments."

Stephen Lemelin, Operations Manager (OPM), T-Systems, worked with Anas

"I've work with Anas for only a short time. However, during that time, he has proven his skills with the wealth of knowledge that he brings with him. He turned into my go to person when a SharePoint issue was beyond my own skill level. I recommend him and his knowledge if you have any SharePoint projects or issues. "

James Sommers, Lync Engineer & SharePoint administrator, Volkswagen of America, Inc, worked directly with Anas

"I worked with Anas during my internship at Volkswagen Group of America this past year and he taught me a lot in the world of SharePoint. Anas has a lot of expertise in Administration and executes very well in his work."

Nicholas Sammut, IT Operations Intern, Volkswagen of America, Inc, worked directly with Anas

"Anas helped me build a team SharePoint site and always provided thoughtful feedback on design ideas."

Britney Beyer, Project Manager of Enterprise Solutions, Volkswagen of America, Inc, worked with Anas

"When my client (P3 Group) gave me the SharePoint Developer search assignment, I knew it was going to be difficult, as they were just adopting SP and only had basic admin skills in-house. They needed someone that knew more than the out-of-box functionality; they needed a true SP Developer that could also teach them. With Anas we got all that and more; not only does he have experience with custom workflows, but he Page7

also has the business acumen and knowledge to provide creative solutions. On paper he looked great, but it got even better when we interviewed him, as he is also very personable, articulate and can simultaneously manage several projects at different points in the development cycle. The P3 environment is very dynamic, as they are an engineering services consulting firm that is constantly managing new projects/clients. Finding Anas made my client happy, which in turn makes me look good! Technical skills: Master Pages, CSS, Entire Site collections, Web Parts, Workflow, SharePoint Designer, Info Path, Dashboard Designer"

Pummy Virdi, ACIR, CIR, CSSR, was Anas's client

"Anas is a very knowledgeable Sharepoint Designer that worked with me on multiple SP projects from inception to final rollout. He is very approachable and cooperative in his ways of communicating and is able to quickly react to changes in the plan with adding his own ideas and thoughts when it comes to planning and implementation. The development process that Anas is following proactively, always includes all affected stakeholders for regular reviews and signoffs. Overall, I enjoyed working with Anas on SP development."

Alexander Kujumdshiev, managed Anas indirectly

"Anas is well versed and talented with the Sharepoint software. He set up our Sharepoint system to serve as our operating system for the company. Within the Sharepoint application he created the ability to handle peer evaluations electronically but with confidentiality. Anas also set up and programmed the expense submission and vacation/PTO element of sharepoint with allowed employees to schedule PTO electronically and managers could approve the PTO requests electronically. Great job Anas. Keep up the awesome work."

Rachel Piacentini PHR, worked directly with Anas

"During my tenure at P3 I was in regular contact with Anas during the transition of our company to SharePoint 2010. Several of my groups’ business processes were mapped in SharePoint and Anas and I worked closely together during the development and debugging phase. I recall him as supportive, calm even when confronted with difficult feedback and solution oriented when processing my requests."

Friedmar Rumpel, managed Anas indirectly
