This is a windows application for Seven Eleven retail stores. The project is called RISE (Retail Information System Evolution) which addresses the 7-Eleven retail business needs through the collaboration of technology and software. The systems contain an ISP (In store processor - server) along with POS terminals, scanners, order tracking terminals, safe deposits and media readers. The ISP business suite is developed using .NET 4.0 framework with C# and WinForms on VS 2010, Entity Framework 4.1 and ASMX Web Services/WCF for communication with server and Oracle 11g for database management. This is a migration project where the ISP which was in legacy system (UNIFACE) with SQL server has to be migrated to .NET with entity framework 4.1 with Oracle as Database.

Responsibilities:

Analyzed and evaluated systems specifications and business process functionality requirements and data mappings and leveraged that information to technical design documents and system design documents for development and enhancements of new/existing functionalities.

Study of CR (Change Request) documents and building R2R (Response to Requirement) documents for understanding the enhancements.
