#1. CLASS System

Client : CEVA Logistics.

Description:

This application is mainly designed to meet the whole business requirements of 3rd party logistics where it provides end to end delivery i.e. booking cargo, loading cargo, maintaining Flight Schedules, unloading cargo at import side, delivery of cargo, invoice generation etc.

Application consists of mainly 5 modules Exports (Ocean & Air), Imports, Break Bulk, Warehouse and Accounting. Export side is the place where the cargo is loaded in to the carrier i.e., from the shipper end (Port of Loading), Import side is the place where the goods are unloaded i.e., to the Consignee (Port of Destination). Break bulk is the place the goods divided at Customs ware house to different freight forwarders. Warehouse is the place solutions to Domestic warehouses. Accounting is a place where we provided organizational solutions to challenges in larger organizations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinating with onsite business team and gathering business requirement.

PkMS is Manhattan designed application which deals with entire warehouse management for different kind of needs like manufacturing unit, whole sale and retail customer. It starts operation from receiving the ASN from host system, yard management, labor management, locating the inventory(Put away), inventory management, cycle count, order receiving, full filling the order, freight forwarding also.

#3. FTZ (Foreign trade zone)

Description:

FTZ is location usually located in or near to CBP customs ports of entry at industrial parks or terminal warehouse facilities, it is specifically designated and secured are operation under CBP. Any type of goods which are importing to US can be store, manufacture and/ or process without any duties paying to CBP but there are onetime fee setup and trade agreement required with CBP to use this facilities.

After having trade agreement then for every shipment in to FTZ zone or warehouse are required to report CBP through EDI for allocation of slot/place to hold the importer goods and also need to report concurrence after receiving and placing the goods to FTZ. Also every movement of goods with in the FTZ or goods to outside FTZ, need to reports to CBP through electronically.

Effective January 26, 2009 Customs will require an ISF filing for all shipments arriving in the United States by Ocean Carrier, with the one exception of bulk shipments. This requirement is placed on the importer, who may authorize an agent to file the information on his behalf.

The Importer Security Filing application provides the ability for the ABI filer to transmit the security filing for an importer in three ways: 1.As a stand-alone transmission 2.As part of the Entry Summary 3.As part of the Cargo Release

The application also includes an on-line inquiry of security filings requiring follow-up
