Below are the role involves..

1.ON TABEL

Product development as per customer's req. (based on customer’s quality and budget).

Source Fabric, materials locally and from overseas to meet buyer's product and budget requirements

Garment engineering changing detailing, fabric/ trims, wash detail in order to price competitive.

Costing by providing buyers the best and competitive prices within desired time. Also costing with vendors to meet margin.

Planning T & A for sampling, accy. Booking, the production capacity booking, washing plant booking, and shipment in time.

Sourcing factories and placing orders.

Checking costing of factories to see accuracy of fabric consumption, CM, trims cost, wash cost etc.

Business corresponding with buyers, Vendors and Shipping Dept. Keep strong business

relationship with vendors for product development and proper production facility.

Keep in touch with latest fashion trends

2.Sample Department

Analysis of detailing of style and suggest alternative of any design part which is not feasible to production

Handling total sample programming e.g. styling sample, FIT sample, Proto sample, Pre-production sample, Photo sample, TOP sample, shipping sample.

Checking samples before sending to customer.

3.Production

Meeting factory people frequently to make sure orders run smoothly.

Follow up whether style has been input in the line or not. If late, find out the reason and convince production dept to start on time or if there is sensible reason to delay, explain customer in advance and get extension for delivery date

Follow up production if running smoothly without any interruption and check bulks garments randomly to see products are correct as per approved sample.

Keep Strong relationship with quality team who are standby at the factory during production.

4. Quality

Attending Q.C meeting every morning to share running problems and solutions

Coordinates with the QA team to ensure the quality of the products. And advise them to inspect in time to deliver goods on time

Inspect fabric reports, size set, inline, mid line, pre final reports stage by stage..

5. Approvals and decision

Color approval - Lab-dip / desk loom/ yarn dip approval at the buying point of view or checking before submission.

Commercial decision at the critical situation when no time to resubmit due to short lead time.
