At Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, I served as a manager in powertrain, maintenance cost, and stamping. I have had extensive training at Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan. From this I have successfully implemented significant lean principles. Examples include: Total Productive Maintenance ( TPM ). Employee development programs in both powertrain and stamping plants. And Professional Maintenance with self sufficiency.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky ( TMMK ) 1991-2014

Stamping ( Manager ) Lexus Lead 2012-2014

I was responsible for ensuring Stamping readiness for the Lexus Launch. 1st Lexus model for Toyota in the USA.

-Lexus Quality Benchmarking at Kyushu and Tsutsumi Plants

-Led the design and construction of the Stamping Team Member Development Center

-Led training curriculum development for Production, Tool & Die, and General Maintenance Team Members

-Stamping Lexus, weekly status reporting to the President, SVP, and EVP

Stamping Skilled Manager 2009-2012

I was the Manager of Production Engineering, Tool & Die, and General Maintenance. ( 110 T/M’s )

I was responsible for > 800 dies, 20 Presses, and the overseeing of design changes

-Reduced Safety Incident Rate by 70%

-Worked closely with the Production Manager to improve operation rates by 30%

-Established a Tool & Die focus program for die accuracy through technology, machining, and kaizen

-Initiated the Grassroots Safety Program

Manager TMMK Maintenance Cost Reduction 2008-2009

I was responsible to lead and coordinate maintenance cost reduction for all of TMMK maintenance.

-Worked with the Cost Management Department to establish targets, tracking methods, and reporting. Coordinated the activity with each maintenance department including weekly follow up

I was responsible for General Maintenance, Tool Regrind, Machine Shop, Spare Parts, and the Environmental Group. 194 T/M’s

I was responsible for the maintenance and repair of > 1500 machines and a $12M operating budget

-Reduced Safety Incident Rate by 78%

-Increased Productivity by 12%

-Reduced maintenance cost by 21%

-Reduced spare parts inventory cost by 18%

-Leader of implementation for powertrain Total Productive Maintenance ( TPM )

-Trained at Kamigo and Motomachi Plants in plant maintenance and TPM
