Designed multi-million dollar heavy duty Gear and Gearbox systems for commercial industries use. Gear types include spur, helical, bevel & worm. Evaluated & proposed solutions to performance issues on gear box system used in oil rigs. Forged steel, heat treatment, various machining processes, tolerances, load capacity, bearings, shaft, lubrication, heat transfer were some of the engineering aspects driving the design process.
