The applications are used to store & distribute data of various other systems interfacing to Portal and its applications. The entire Portal has about 4.9 million documents saved from 263 locations from all the applications. The applications in the Portal use Documentum server to manage documents and metadata.

Role and Responsibilities:

•Actively involved in the docQuest upgrade project which involves working with Windows Server 2008 R2, IIS 7.0, Documentum 6.7.

•Involved in data migration activity using SQL Server for supplying the data feeds to SAP.

Description: POWER project was a Field Mobility solution (FMS) using 3rd party tool which is used to optimize processes and information needed by companies who send technicians or staff “into the field” (or out of the office). FMS most commonly applies to service companies who typically have operations in the field. Field mobility creates a mobile system that connects the field worker with the corporate systems seamlessly. FMS improves field worker productivity, enhances customer service, automates paper processes, assist with regulatory compliance, reduces human error, inventory turnover etc. In this we were using licensed @hand tool which is also a Dot Net based product.

Role and Responsibilities:

Developer and SME (Subject Matter Expert). Responsible for developing the business solution for Client.

After the successful completion of UAT, the applications will Go Live to all the users and we provide production support.

All these processes include proper documentation as well, like High Level Design document, Detailed Design Document, Test cases, Release Notes etc.
