Focuses on the safe and effective implementation of the Corps leadership training program using the positive reinforcement/mutual respect model. Monitors regular and special cadet activities for compliance with all rules, regulations, policies and procedures to insure maximum benefit for the university and participating cadets. Teaches an accredited management course under the auspices of the College of Business to over 200 junior cadets each semester covering leadership, ethics, and organizational theory. Senior military advisor to an Iraqi brigadier general commanding a 2,000-man Iraqi Armored Brigade in the Baghdad area, and commander of an American military advisory group consisting of 53 officers and sergeants advising subordinate Iraqi units. Advised the commander on all aspects of military operations, budgeting, staff procedures, logistics, medical affairs, and maintenance. Along with the other American advisors, served as a model of how a military officer operates within the parameters of a democratically-elected government. Supervised six military executives and junior managers while commanding a 60-student Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) organization at Oklahoma State University.
