Kea
Jolicoeur
To
whom
it
may
concern,
Hello
my
name
is
Kea
Jolicoeur
and
I
just
graduated
from
California
Polytechnic State
University,
San
Luis
Obispo
with
a
Bachelors
of
Science
in
General
Engineering
and
a focus
in
mechanical
design
and
manufacturing.
While
an
industry
may
classify
me
as
a new
engineering
graduate
(NCG)
those
who
know
me
call
me
a
Jack
of
all
Trades.
This
is because
I
have
interests
and
hobbies
in
many
other
fields
from
designing
homes
to carpentry,
sports,
music
and
medicine.
I
feel
that
getting
your
hands
dirty
is
the
best
way to
learn
something
new.
Being
a
Jack
of
all
trades
is
an
extremely
beneficial
quality
to companies
because
I
can
bring
new
perspectives
and
ideas
from
my
various
other
fields that
someone
focused
on
just
one
field
might
miss.
Not
only
can
I
bring
the
knowledge
of
a new
engineering
graduate
who
loves
learning
new
skills
quickly,
but
I
can
also
bring knowledge
from
many
others
fields
that
might
allow
a
simpler
solution
to
the
problem
at hand.
As
a
recent
graduate
I
find
that
most
industries
want
someone
with
years
of industry
experience
so
the
training
process
goes
smoother
and
there
is
less
instructing required.
While
I
may
require
more
assistance
to
“get
up
and
running,”
I
will
be
able
to provide
more
overall
as
I
am
not
just
a
recent
engineering
graduate.
I
am
a
very
driven and
self- motivated
individual
who
will
tackle
almost
any
task
and
accomplish
it
no
matter the
obstacles.
I
think
the
most
recent
example
of
this
would
be
my
time
as
an
engineering student.
During
the
school
year
I
worked
four
to
six
jobs
while
studying
up
to
22
units
a quarter
to
put
myself
through
engineering
school
and
graduate
debt
free;
a
goal
I
just recently
accomplished.
So
while
on
paper
I
may
appear
as
a
NCG,
I
can
assure
you
that
in person
I
am
much
more.
Now
I
understand
that
this
is
a
competitive
industry
and
find
it
hard
to
share
all my
experience
on
paper,
but
I
would
be
happy
to
set
up
a
video
or
phone
interview
to further
explain
my
goals,
qualifications
and
possible
contributions
to
your
company.
I’m looking
forward
to
hearing
from
you
at
your
earliest
convenience
and
hope
that
this inquiry
finds
you
in
good
health.
Much
Appreciation,
Kea
