CAREER OVERVIEW
I am currently a Consultant for my own company AtterBen Consulting. I have just finished a contract at a hospital near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While there, I built the second entity hospital on a single entity system. This was on Siemens Syngo Workflow VB10 RIS being combined with Siemens Plaza PACS. The new hospital was on GE RIS/PACS before joining the Syngo Workflow system. This was a special situation since the main hospital was already live on the system and was being changed from single to multiple entity without downtime to the system. I worked in tandem with the project manager during the implementation of these systems and the conversion from GE to Siemens. This has gained me a much better understanding of the project life cycle. I had gained many skills toward my goal of being a Technical Consultant while performing the duties of Lead Analyst of Imaging Services. These skills include programming in SQL, Siemens data base, SQL control documents, and Crystal reports. The knowledge I have acquired gives me an understanding of Soarian as well as interfaces, HL7, and the causation and correction of problematic issues within the parameter of these programs. I have also been able to fine tune my communication skills as I was an instrumental part of system improvements and stability by communicating with all levels of users. I communicated with users of varying technical understanding, Technologists, Physicians, Management and Stakeholders.
