Project details

The main aim of present investigation of is to select a new cheap, effective alternative suspending agent from nature for suspension formulation. A comparative study has been performed between the azadirachta indica plant gum and known gums like acacia and tragacanth. Azadirachta indica was extracted with water, dried under shadow and powdered. Then its phytochemical investigation, swelling index was determined.

Instruments handled

Measuring cylinder, micro pipettes, petri dishes, global PH meter, digital Brookfield viscometer, and digital top loading balance.
