Provide data management support to geologist, geophysicists & Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enable completion of data migration plans

Responsible for all aspects of Well, Seismic and interpretation data management to include defining, documenting and enforcing standards and workflows for loading, managing and archiving G&G data

Created Data Migration & quality assurance processes workflows

Supported data management activities for deployments to various upstream business units

Responsibilities: Feasibility study for Saudi Aramco’s Well & Field Service activities

Worked with a team of five members to explore the possibility of automating the well & field services

Constructed AS-IS processes with current system landscape for Northern Area Oil Operations of Saudi Aramco

GAP Analysis for current business process & system landscape. Assisted in the To-Be discussions and critical process improvements

Involved in preparing comprehensive feasibility report to automate well & field business process by using technology solutions

-Saudi Aramco has access to all the highlevel upstream process maps. These process maps will a present clearer picture to planner & schedulers.

Project 5: E&P Application Portfolio Rationalization

Work Profile: Business Analyst [Jan2008 - Aug 2008]

Client: Chevron (L&T Infotech’s Client)

Responsibility: This project needs domain as well as technical expertise. I am accountable for following tasks.

Collect entire E&P application inventory from various operational Companies (OpCo) of chevron.

Segregation/ categorization of inventories based on various parameters like geography, Domain sector, application scope, infrastructure, etc.

Check out the possibilities of application integration/ migration within the OpCo. This job involves daily client’s interaction to understand their business prospective.

Delivering weekly presentation to Chevron management for the work accomplished and further action plans.

-Able to segregate technical/business/functional application for the huge applications pool

-Many Business units (BUs) can leverage past work done by others BUs.

-Effectively managed services company license for various application.

Project 6: Developing POC’s (Proof of concepts) for: PPDM (Professional Petroleum Data management) Compliance tracking tool [July 2006 – Dec 2007]

Role: Business consultant

Client: Devon Energy (L&T Infotech’s Client)

PPDM Compliance Tool -- Prepared and drafted a detailed Function Specification document on “Public Petroleum Data Model”. It covers the description of business models, sample syntactic-semantic diagrams & application development methodology.

This application will offer a complete Data Management Solution for Oil and gas (Upstream) industry.

Environment: MS platform, PPDM Concepts, MS-SQL Clarity Tool.
