Responsibilities: As a student(volunteer), I completed 168 hours at every placement site in 24 full days. I planned and

implemented Developmentally Appropriate (DAP) activities working in a play-based curriculum for enhancing their

different skills such as Science, Maths, Arts, Cognitive, Physical,Social,Music, Reading and Writing skills for young

children in small group, large group and free play time ; guide children in terms of eating; dressing and toilet habits;

organize transition periods such as lunch and nap time; represented myself as a good role model, good observer and

report the observations consistently to the centre supervisor, the staff and the parents ; discussed the

progress level and problems related to the development of children with the staff and parents

regularly. Display the complete knowledge of Day Nurseries Act, licensing regulations and establish

behaviour guidelines for the young children. My other duties were to maintain day care supplies and

equipment; assistance in housekeeping duties ;exhibited good adult scaffolding, interpersonal and

communication skills. I promote a variety of inclusive ideas when working with children with exceptionalities. Using

special innovative techniques and behaviour management skills were part of my volunteer.
