Wind Energy is renewal source of energy & is freely available.

The basic principle is, when wind velocity interact with turbine blades it transfer part of KE to turbine & decrease it's speed, this deference is converted into useful work.

In this KE of wind is converted into Mechanical Energy which is used to run Generator to produce electricity.
