After six and a half years in the oil and gas drilling industry I was laid off due to market fluctuation. My intention is to pursue a career in a new industry or service where I may utilize my strengths of integrity, strong work ethic, communication, and positive creative problem solving.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Measurement While Drilling (MWD) 2008-2015
Worked and lived on drilling location without direct supervision operating as representative for employer.
Responded and traveled on short notice to locations throughout continental U.S. to perform services and solutions employer was contracted to provide.
Provided supervision for up to 4 employees, on location, around the clock including trainees.
Performed as intermediary between employers, clients, trucking companies, rig personnel, and other service companies.
Operated tool systems both rented and company owned; duties to include Inspection, cleaning, assembly (according to specific hole conditions), programing, setting parameters, rebuilding / replacing wearable components, and identifying / troubleshooting issues and failures.
Learn and comprehensively understand concepts of directional drilling, mud pulse and electromagnetic communication and signal propagation, drilling fluids / additives and drill line hydraulics, geophysics and geology, gamma radiation, magnetometers, accelerometers, magnetic declination, gravity, and navigation.
Maintained extensive paperwork and reports, i.e. daily, pre and post run, survey, operating, failure, incident, personnel, time, bill of lading, and predicted / actual cost.
Tested and developed new prototype tools, equipment, and software in the field- conceptualizing, troubleshooting, adapting, and making recommendations on potential.
Setting up wireless surface operating systems, software, electromagnetic ground antennas, pressure transducers, displays, receiving junctions, wireless routers and antennas, electrical interference reducers, and grounding rods.
Monitored operating systems while drilling to ensure accurate, timely, and detailed high definition data collection.
Converted raw data into useable files and logs of varying formats, displaying data such as gamma radiation, temperature, total gravity field, total magnetic field, dip angle, inclination, azimuth, directional tool face, vibration, stick slip, dogleg severity, total depth, and true vertical depth.

U.S. Army – Infantry 2001-2006 (+2 years National Guard service)
Served two tours of duty in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. First Tour 2003-2004, Second Tour 2005-2006.
Completion of the Army Primary Leadership Development Course.
Three years team leader/ squad leader experience, including duties such as task completion, managing personnel and organizing work schedules, written and oral developmental counseling: enrichment, career, personal, disciplinary.
