The project included the drilled shaft construction, gravity walls, guardrail installations, milling and resurfacing operations, drainage improvements, and general building construction activities for the new building facilities holding all electronic equipment for the toll collection system. FDOT District 6: 12th Avenue / SR 933 Bascule Bridge Construction - Senior Roadway Inspector (2006 – 2008) Employer: Bermello & Ajamil Construction Services (ba), Miami, Florida This Project required Mr. Rauseo to coordinate and monitor 8 MOT phases scheduled for this project. Project entailed 4 MSE walls with temporary wire walls. Mr. Rauseo had to coordinate roadway operations for drainage installations with utility owners as well as business and building owners as well as asphalt inspection operations. mechanical operations, coating, bolting, railings, and control tower finishing and submarine cable installation across the river using directional boring. Other aspects included whole coating rehabilitation and removing existing lead paint. Reinforced concrete quality control, including sampling and testing such as pull test operations were also performed. New signing, drilled shafts and architectural detailing included. Mr. Rauseo took care of environmental control duties, due to operations on the intercostal waters; including erosion control and manatee watch. Complete rehabilitation of 2 mile long road, including road widening under state road I-95. Construction of retaining walls included geotechnical operations such as anchoring systems on existing embankments. Mr. Rauseo supervised the reinforced concrete operations for this operation as well. Roadway widening operations included embankment, stabilization, base and asphalt, as well as sidewalks, curb and gutter and traffic separators. Lighting and signalization needed drilled shafts and directional boring. Mr. Rauseo was also involved in the traffic control, environmental and utility relocation operations.
