Worked 2006-2015 at Suminoe Textile America. Started as a machine operator, was promoted to lead man in 2007. My job duties in these years consisted of doing/assisting in changeovers of machine throughout the department. i also managed sequencing to ensure highest possible efficiency during runs of production of product. I oversaw trials and samples of materials and new styles on lines where i was lead man. in 2008 i became relief supervisor, routinely filling in for supervisors for up to three months at a time. As supervisor i monitored and documented production, held safety meetings and performed training duties, ect. in 2010 i was assigned to working with the maintenance department on the installation of new lines of machines. From the physical building of the machines to the designing of standard operating procedures and specifications for setups to the training of associates, i (along with another process engineer) oversaw the project. in 2013 i was promoted to quality process engineer. Job Duties under this title included identifying quality issues and designing methods to avoid and eliminate these issues. I was responsible for ensuring quality product was ready for shipment by due dates. I oversaw a reworks of non-conforming products. Also i was involved in scheduling to ensure the most efficient running of product while adhering to shipment demands. In 2015 i was assigned to go to Mexico to troubleshoot recently installed machines in a new plant and oversee them as they began running quality product to customer specification.
