Applying for the Senior Administrative Position based on my experience and exposure in different Industries and achieved success in the fields of Marketing & Sales (Channel, Institutional, Project Sales and Retail), Exports & Imports through Sea, Air and Road with complete documentation process, World Bank projects through global tenders and General Administrative works related to the jobs apart from Entrepreneur skills for the last 30 plus years which can be viewed from the Resume attached.

Though in the 50 plus category, Single and living with my parents, hale and healthy due to strict diet and exercise regime be FIT and willing to accept the challenging assignment, basically a Graduate (B.Sc.), 5 feet 5 inches, Hindu, Vegetarian, Tamil native well versed in English, looking for the Senior Position to share my experiences towards the benefit of the company to go ahead and compete with others in the field for the betterment of the company and it is mutual.

Kindly go through my Plans/proposals towards the betterment of the company based on the experience, exposure attained in the fields of Plastics (PVC Pipes &Fittings), Leather and related products and also in Service Industries.

The details/proposals submitted are in general format and once the products, market share, competitor activities and the advertisement pattern followed by the company are furnished the marketing strategies can be suggested to retain the Brand equity. I would like to reiterate that the success will follow if we take corrective measures while planning and also to over come the hurdles and obstacles during implementation stage.

To define Distributor, Dealer, Stockists, based on their performance depending upon the areas of Business done by them in Major Cities, Towns in up country markets District wise.

To analyze the Financial Position and Business background in case of new appointments in a professional way to bring it in our network.

Monitoring the activities of the Distributor/Dealer network, implement strategies according to the local conditions and to insist to appoint Sales persons to cover local distribution network.

To concentrate and focus on Super Markets/Retail Chain Stores/ Shopping Malls/Food Courts/Team Health Shop for BULK purchase for the Retail outlets.

To focus on Institutional Sales like Railways, Defence canteens and Big PSUs/IT Companies/Corporate offices wherever Canteen facilities are available to promote our products.

To organize Trade Promotions in all District Headquarters with the help of our Branches/Distributor/Dealer network for better display and product reach.

To advertise our products range in the Electronic media like Reality Shows/Popular programs/Sports Events to increase our market share.

To arrange product publicity through Window display, Outdoor advertising like Posters, Hoardings, Neon signs, Pamphlets or Advertisements in local tabloids.

To organize meetings with all Sales personnel region wise to motivate, analyze, evolve better understandings of Customer care issues with the help of our Branches/ Distributor/Dealer network

To prepare FORMATS for Sales persons - the Daily performance report, Monthly Sales summary, Sales Analysis report, Tour programs to furnish the details by them for evaluation.

To encourage and motivate the Marketing and Sales TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) and other staffs under me and to work united for the betterment of the company.

Emphasize and Exploit their strengths, downplay the weakness.

To effectively bury the word “I” from the vocabulary and introduce” WE” factor, which creates, trust and enable to get the task done.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. During the year April 2008, I had accepted my first assignment as a Consultant (part time basis) for the Roofing structure company and submitted my plan of action for the betterment of the company. (SSI unit)

2. During November 2008 I had submitted my proposal for an SSI Lubricant unit and formulated strategies based on the details given to me for the Industrial segments, Hospitality (Hotels & Hospitals), Engineering Colleges, Generator Dealers/Hirers sector as well as for Wholesale Dealers for selling the same. Also I had introduced the concept of Daily Sales Report, Detailed Monthly summary – Daily Sales, Collection, and Volume in Litres with cumulative figures comprising the Sales Executives including that of direct customers.

3. During Feb.2009, I had accepted a Short Assignment role as a Consultant and attended the Plastindia 2009 at New Delhi and interacted with International, National Extrusion Machinery manufacturers, PVC Pipes and other Pipes manufacturers etc., and also obtained the details regarding the potential of the PVC Pipe market in Tamil Nadu and submitted the Report to Madurai based Irrigation Company.

4. During the year 2010 and 2014, I had done the role for the Material handling equipments for Industries, Shopping Malls/Departmental Stores etc.

After my employment with M/s. Wavin India Ltd., I had started Business along with my friend during the year 2000 and looked after the Retail management of the Hardware shops for the PVC Pipes and related products procured from the local mfr., and due to Business ethics I had opted out during last month and looking for challenging assignments and presently doing Consultant jobs as and when it comes and also online jobs.

CONCLUSION: To set the challenges, management has to send the right vibes to: a) Set a direction, b) Periodical evaluation, c) Current performance, d) Future market trends, e) Competitiveness of the products and last but not the least the PRODUCT Publicity which should be suggestive, educative, attractive and appeal to the sentiments and instincts of the prospective buyers. Organised 40 containers for Exports to Middle

East in Two days time during Jan ’93 and

avoided the cancellation of orders.

Coordinated with Factory, Production,

Quality control Departments to execute the

orders as per planning during 1994-95 and

accordingly arranged about 100 containers

for smooth exports in time.

Managed 46 trucks through M/s.ETO with

Complete formalities of Export from Chennai
