The Claim Status Inquiry serves to retrieve current claim status of active AR from payer system, and provide a workflow for staff to review accounts.

Every day the active claim data is loaded to Claim Status Inquiry database from various external sources like Medipac, Cognos, Cirius, and UPP. The Medipac (EDI 276) is the main data source file.

All the unresolved claims are launched to retrieve an up-to-date claim status from the various payers.
