EMPLOYMENT

FIELD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (ATS Ltd 2014- PRESENT)

Working in the UAE for the Gas/Oil industry, this contract covers the whole of the UAE. Site locations are offshore & onshore with the addition of climbing /rope access as needed.

Duties include:

• preventive maintenance

• UPS Battery installation inspection & testing

• Electric motors & pumps

• Generator control/load connections

Working on the ISP contract for the Ministry of Defense (MOD) this was a fully operational workshop where carpentry, metal fabrication, welding, metal machining, new work production, refurbishment and repair works were undertaken .

Duties include:

• Ensuring all site Health and Safety is adhered to for employees and site visitors.

• Updating C.O.S.S.H, risk assessments, method statements, PPE ordering, and giving tool box talks.

• Processing employee’s expense claims, leave applications, and medicals.

TECHNICAL OFFICER ASSET MANAGEMENT -AFGHANISTAN- KBR ltd (2011 – 2013)

Working on the ISP contract for the ministry of defense. This position covered the asset

management for the M.O.D across the whole of Afghanistan.

Duties include:

• Technical building inspections.

• Building services reports.

• Electrical, mechanical installation reports.

• Building, electrical, mechanical warranty reports.

• Asset capture of building electrical, mechanical installations.

• Referencing all new assets against known manufactures information and applying appropriate maintenance scheduling (Maximo)

• Programming maintenance of asset against job plans, writing new job plans when needed (Maximo)

• Visiting sites prior to hand over, consulting contractors on associated H&S packs, confirming that all workings are within our risk assessments for applied maintenance.

• Maintenance breakdown site visits to find causes and implement updated PPM.

MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR– BRENNTAG Ltd – (2009 – 2011)

Day duties entail me ensuring all building services for this chemical mixing plant were maintained, and kept production. These duties cover the office hard ware maintaining emergency lighting, fire systems, COMP EX installations, water, liquid, gas, and CCTV installations .As well as the factory plant equipment I would also ensure maintenance of, air control systems, pneumatic pumps and effluent systems. Should any sub-contract works be required on site I would manage all works associated with them.

Duties include:

• Maintenance of all Mechanical Plant

• Maintenance of all Electrical systems on site such as emergency lighting, fire alarm, security Systems, control systems (flow switch’s, PH meter’s)

• Management of sub-contract works, ensuring correct MS and RA in place to adhere to company policy and procedures.

Working as part of medium sized company, my duties required me to manage a number of refurbishment fit-out projects for clients such as Shoe Zone and Thomson Holiday shops.
