• Develop detailed repair and upgrade work scopes for industrial pumps based on dimensional and

visual inspections, including all necessary welding and machining procedures, required parts and

assembly instruction.

• Provide quotes for recommended repairs, OEM parts, and field service activities that fulfill

customers’ purchasing requests in accordance with API and/or ASME requirements

• Utilize inspection reports, along with performance testing, including process variable and vibration

data, and analysis of surrounding process systems to conduct failure analyses and formal Root

Cause Analysis upon customer request or warranty claim. Produce detailed reports including

analysis, conclusions and recommendations that are submitted to customers and upper

management

• Develop upgrade packages designed to increase MTBF and/or accommodate process changes

including, but not limited to, material, mechanical, hydraulic and operational modifications. Have

developed proven solutions for several unique applications in the power, chemical and oil/gas

industries

• Produce reports outlining ROI analysis in order to justify customers’ capital expenditure on repair

and upgrade proposals. These reports compare the effects of customers’ operational downtime,

lost production, maintenance cost, equipment efficiency, and parts and material costs

• Document changes made to OEM designs by producing accurate updated drawings and

engineering data for each equipment unit per serial number

• Provide technical product support to shop operations, sales and customers for equipment

including, but not limited to, vertical and horizontal multi-stage centrifugal pumps, as well as twin

screw, gear and piston-type positive displacement pumps and their sealing systems

• Periodically accompany sales to customer sites in order to promote capabilities of Flowserve’s

Greer, SC Service Center and provide on-site troubleshooting and system analysis

• Manage the safety program at the Greer, SC facility

o Maintain all required EH&S documentation

o Complete reports outlining details of any Lost Time, Doctor Cases and Near Miss incidents

o Conduct monthly safety committee meetings and follow up with corrective actions for all issues

found

o Maintain permits for all waste generated and hazardous materials held on-site

o Manage EH&S continuous improvement projects in order to meet assigned completion dates
