WORK EXPERIENCE

Process Engineer / Full time Jun 2013 – Sep 2014

Metsa-Kemira Cooperation, Helsinki- Finland

Worked in Bio-refinery R&D group as a process engineer. I performed various laboratory experiments, prepared job proposal for the clients and participated in development and scale up of new process known as IONCELL-P process. I produced pure cellulose out of wood by using Ionic liquid solution. The results were published in two Journal papers.

Inspection projects coordinator, Inspector/Full time Aug 2009 – Aug 2012

SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance), Tehran-Iran

Coordinated various inspection projects, provided customer solutions and customer support and implemented sales and marketing strategies. Majority of the projects were in oil and gas sector worth 1-2 millions of dollars. As an inspector, I performed various inspections during procurement and construction of industrial equipment, certification of type approval, preparing test plan procedures and non conformity reports. From June, 2011 I execute as a project supervisor and organized 6 inspectors under my supervision. In addition, I gained experience in consulting customers to help them obtain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, REACH and CE certificates for different products.

Process Engineer/Full time Aug 2008 –Sep 2009

National Oil&Gas Co.,Tehran-Iran

Worked in customer solutions division and developed a membrane process in order to separate CO2 and H2S from Sour Natural Gas by using PI and PPO membrane. Simulation and optimization of membrane separation unit, energy /mass balance and economical prefeasibility calculations was done by using MATLAB software. The results were published in one journal paper.

The focus of OxiCal Project was on the development of an artificial finger to improve the calibration process and accuracy of puls oximeter made by General Electric. As a product development engineer, I provided Risk Assessment, market study, and application design. The final prototype was presented in PDP exhibition in Finland.
