Director of Diagnostic Imaging
Provide leadership and manage 130 FTE’s which make up 9 cost centers
Develop and administer capital & operational budgets for all 9 cost centers
Supervise Managers in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear
Medicine, PET, Mammography, Out Patient Imaging and Support Services with a budget of 120 million
Planned and established new MRI at our Outpatient site
Worked with Delta Health Consulting to reduce staff to meet productivity levels, overall salary savings of $900,000.00 annually
Upgraded our Women’s Life Center with state of the art digital mammo equipment
Implemented Voice Recognition, decreasing report turnaround time
Implemented MediTech Radiology Information System ( RIS )

Provide leadership and facilitate culture change. Develop and administer capital and operational budgets for 5 cost centers and meet financial objectives. Meet Continuous Quality Improvement objectives. Direct, monitor, and maintain Radiology Human Resources, Supervise Radiology Managers, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound Departments. 24 hour responsibility and accountability.
Reduced annual Radiology Department budget by $100K through decrease of work time from 40 hours to 37.5 hours.
Utilize a participative management style to create an atmosphere where critical thinking skills are encouraged and decision making is made at the lowest possible level.
Facilitated development of criterion based skills assessment standards for Radiology Department that allowed recertification of employees and certification of new employees.
