CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Engineering Manager for new businesses (1999-2003). Reviewed Gas field developments in Anaco and Punta de Mata (Venezuela) for the design of new Fractionation and Extraction plants. Conducted technical- economical analysis (Gas, VAN, TIR). Prepared bidding process for execution of EPCC (ACCROVEN Project). Supervised all EPCC process up to successful start-up of plants in 2002 (800 MMSCFD/ 1500MMUS$ Cryogenic Extraction plant and 50MBD/1000MMUS$ Fractionation Plant). Analyzed new development to Furreal and Pirital field Gas reserves. Prepared all required bidding specifications for new extraction (1000MMSCFD) and fractionation (100MBD) plants.

Safety Manager. Lowest Safety Incidents Award two years in a row (1998, 1999) in PDVSA Gas. No accidents due to excellent preventive strategies implemented. Operations included a gas pipeline network (5000 Km) and gas plants (1800 MMSCFD, 130 MBD) with over 5,000 workers.

Start-up Manager and Operation Manager for the Santa Barbara Extraction Plant (1991-1996). Reached $7MM advanced profit on commissioning and start-up through the use of construction strategies in parallel with commissioning activities. Obtained 1.4 million of LNG production in advance. DESIGN EXPERIENCE

FEED Revision. Execution, revision and approval of engineering detailed drawings. Design of underground, aboveground, Piping and routing calculations. Design criteria, engineering detail and calculations revision in a LNG plant (8 MMTY/ 5MMUS$) for Qatar Gas in Qatar. Improvement in rotating equipment loops to facilitate precommissioning, commissioning and start up activities.

Prepared for EPCC Contractors (Precomm and comm. Engineering Docs.). Order and prepare procedure about all project phases completion, with requirements and formal documents and certificates, establishment of startup sequence integrating all contractor package, coordination meetings with contractors, advance revision and request, System and subsystem revision. Responsible for the execution of all required activities for start-up certificate. This included blowing, flushing, leak test, chemical loading, black start-up, drying, and other related methods of pre-commissioning.

Supporting and improvements to Process engineering team as commissioning process engineer.

Reported to Madrid Board Managers for the development of the new detailed engineering for Borouge2 (EPC contract). Execution of Engineering on site condition the existing Plant in advance
