I receive daily schedule from area coordinator to check which products I will work for the day. Based on the schedule I go to the area that requires QA effort. I verify the product against the invoice to make sure it is correct in this batch and in the correct parameter. The product needs to follow the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) to ensure the products follow FDA requirements. I also verify to ensure that the product is scannable, then the product fails; then I stop the machine right away. If the product pass, I sign my name on the audit form, and then release the product into the system.

Yearly review: Receive high score high based on coordinator and manager assessment. I also serve as the back-up coordinator when he is away.

Machine Operator/Tool Maker

The supervisor assigned a CNC (Computer Numerical machine) to me to operate daily.

I load the product onto the machine and it runs about 2 minutes. Then I unload the part, then I check the part for the correction dimension. Then I load a new part and start the process again. Because I did a quality job, I was promoted to a tool maker.

As a Tool Maker, I load the part into the machine then I set up the manual machine to cut the parts to the blueprints. The parts vary. The most complicated part can take up to 2 hours to cut. As a tool maker, I provided quality products and was promoted to Quality Control.

There are only 2 Quality Control on the production floor and I am one of them. As Quality Control,I check the tool against the blueprint dimension. If it is to the correct specification, then I let it go through to shipping. If the product is not to the blueprint, then I send the parts back to either the Machine Operator or Tool Maker.
