Sales Associate
The Source – Bayer’s Lake, NS
- As a sales associate, I am responsible to know of any and all product and merchandise within the store, as well as
its price and possible warranty, including the possibility of an extended warranty.
- Being that The Source is owned by Bell Aliant, I am required to know of all cellphones, their capabilities, as well as
all the plans featured by Bell and Virgin Mobile alike. It is essential that I know all the plans, their rates, and what is
included specifically for each individual plan.

Coach
Stratford Soccer Club – Stratford, PE
- During my last summer on Prince Edward Island, my own soccer coach took me on as a coach to assist in the
development of youth players. I coached eight sessions a week, each session ending in a scrimmage which I
coached and refereed with other coaches.
- I was required to work with young players from the ages of eight to twelve. I taught and developed basic skills of
the sport to help players build on and grow in order to continue growth as a player for both now and later in their
soccer career. I was responsible for having meetings with coaches before the sessions in order to discuss and
organize which drills and exercises to practice.
- I needed to be knowledgeable of not only the sport at hand, but of the skill level of each age group in order to
facilitate the appropriate drill. I also needed to be able to connect with the players, assist them where they may
have needed further explanation or demonstration, as well as assess their skill and development.

Cashier
Wild Impulse – Charlottetown, PE
- I was hired at a local shop at the beginning of my last summer on Prince Edward Island as a cashier. I
worked part time while I completed a summer course that had required lectures a couple days out of the
week.
- My responsibilities as a cashier were to serve any and every customer whom came to my register. I
accepted payments in cash, debit, or credit. I not only needed to be knowledgeable of the products which
we sold but of the comparable prices among products.
- As well as handling transactions, I was responsible cash-out and the end of my shift and to stock and
clean shelves . If customers were in need of assistance on the floor, I would leave my post to answer any
questions or to check for products stored in cupboards out front or in the back.

Warehouseman
Kent Building Supplies - Charlottetown, PE
- During my first summer in Charlottetown, I worked full time in the yard at Kent
Building Supplies. I was responsible to meet customers in front of the
warehouse office and to lead them to what it is they have purchased from
the yard, and then I loaded the product into their vehicle.
- While at Kent, I needed to be knowledgeable of all and any
products in the yard, as well as how they were used, wh at they could be
optimally used for, and if they could be easily replaced by any other
materials.

- During my summer job as a bartender, I experienced a high intensity work
environment, and a demand for high class product.
- My duties as a bartender included: efficient production of all and any
beverages from soft drinks, to barista coffees, mixed drinks, and any other
alcoholic beverage on the menu.

ABC Country Restaurant - Langley, BC
- As a host at a restaurant, my duties included: greeting, seating, and getting
beverages for guests, as well as informing them of any specials or changes to
the menu.
- These specific duties are not only customer- related but they involve
procedures of socializing, question answering, and forms of presenting
products.
As well as the duties mentioned above, my responsibilities as a host included
stocking, cleaning, and completing both debit and cash transactions.

- I have recently completed my BA in Psychology with a minor in French this spring of 2015, thereby completing four
years of study at the University of Prince Edward Island.
- I completed my last semester via correspondence; therefore satisfying the remaining required credits in completing
them online.

- I graduated from high school in 2011, where I obtained a dual dogwood. I graduated with a high school diploma as
well as a diploma indicating successful completion of French Immersion.
- I graduated from my high school with Honours.
