Summary of qualifications
ARRT registered medical imaging technologist with over 15 years experience performing
diagnostic radiography and MRI/MRA procedures in diverse settings. Proven salubrious
patient care, demonstrated technical ability to operate complex MRI scanners and peripheral
hardware, skilled in organizing and prioritizing work, ability to work independently and in a team
environment, adept at critical thinking and decision making, good interpersonal communication
skills, strong work ethic, flexible and resourceful. Well versed in cross sectional anatomy and
MR/CT pathology. BLS certified. Licensed to practice in the State of Delaware.
Experience
Operated 1.5T and 3.0T GE and Siemens MRI scanners to produce cross-sectional MRI/MRA images using proper coils and techniques.
Programmed and used power injectors to administer contrast intravenously.
Consulted and collaborated with radiologists, referring physicians and technologists to ensure best possible studies.
Performed routine and dynamic MRI studies on clients in all age groups and cultural diversity.
Educated patients about the ordered procedures and provided them with consent forms.
Screened clients for safety, obtained medical history and identification, prepared patients for the study.
Monitored client safety and comfort during the procedure.
Adhered to HIPAA and other department and equipment safety guidelines.
Documented and recorded the entire intake process as well as the study.
Transmitted studies via PACS networks to reading stations for review and interpretation.
Released clients safely and with proper follow-up instructions.

Additional experience
Performed as a paid volunteer with an international medical team sponsored by the International
Center for Alleviation of Poverty (ICAP), serving in refugee camps in Kenya. Duties included
catering medical imaging services, health promotion, language translation, research projects,
compilation of reports and records management.
Currently working with the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) as
an International Credentials Evaluator (ICE) for foreign nurses desiring to work in the United
States and Canada. Duties involve validating nursing schools and authenticating applicant’s
documents and transcripts.
