To qualify new welding personnel according to the project requirements and applicable code.
Interpretation of radiographic films as per acceptance criteria of the applicable code.
Witnessing Hydrostatic & Pneumatic tests.
To Review Weld Maps for new Projects.
Witnessing Welding Procedure Qualifications and Welder Performance Qualifications and reviewing their records.
Inspection & installation of different diameters of Piping/pipelines according to the procedure.
Arrange NDT as per code and specification requirements.
Inspection of joint design, welding parameters, pre-heat requirements, PWHT, as per WPS requirement.
Conduct WQT and their acceptance criteria as per ASME Sec-IX. Welder qualification and identification number as per requirement.
Witness of welder’s qualification test and preparation/review of welders ID cards and welder’s performance records and maintain welders qualification register and repairs record, take remedial measures after investigating the reasons of repairs and arrange training sessions for the welders to enhance their skill and knowledge to control repair rates.
Coordinating with clients to implement their Hold points.
Witness DPT& MPI, RT as per applicable code.
To monitor ITP (Inspection & Test Plan) based on Project Specifications and applicable international Codes / Standards.
Material inspection, identification as per client specification and applicable codes and standards.
Update daily progress, daily welding, NDT, report and maintain record soft as well as hard copies.
Update and maintain welder’s qualification and their radiography inspection reports.
Fabrication inspection, Dimensional inspection, of Tank as per API-650.
Inspection for paint coating sand blasting applies for surface piping as per specification.
Update Daily Welding Progress RT & DPT Reports.
Inspection of steel structural fabrication as per procedure.
To coordinate with Major Client and A.I. (Authorized Inspector).
