Twin Coast Metrology – Contract Design drafter/Doc Control 2/2015 – 6/10/2015

Detailed and modified design and detail drawings from outsourced design firm. Create bill of materials for purchasing

and submit to ERP system. Updated model to design changes in product assembly. Responsible to do design updates

to designs that are not working in the project.

McClellan Automation – Detailer 6/2013 – 7/2014

Detailing machined and sheet metal part and assembly drawings. Checking assemblies for interferences and proper assembly. Isometric and exploded drawings with bills of materials. Light design. Create ECO’s for engineering

staff. Check purchasing software for parts due dates and locations. Work with vendors to acquire parts in timely

manner. Created library parts and checked library parts for accuracy and modified as needed

Visible-Edge – Piping Designer 8/2010– 12/2012

Contract to Babcock Power to design and detail piping, pipe supports for solar boiler and structural steel for SCR. Created model part and assemblies, detail and assembly drawings, isometric drawings, bill or materials and shipping component lists.

Lisega – Pipe Support Designer 10/2008– 2/2010

Design pipe supports and supporting steel for customers, using Licad. Checked customer’s assemblies for surrounding steel for support and/or interference.

Visible-Edge - Piping Designer 2007 – 9/2008

Designed piping systems and associated drawings for scrubbers to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions in coal power plants. Worked with customer to create drawings used to create pipe spools and install piping at project site from customer P&ID’s. Was responsible for the quench, reclaim, filter feed piping assemblies for scrubber systems with frp and hastelloy piping. Designs took into account need and location for pipe supports, and accessibility for installation and maintenance.

IR Energy Systems- Contract Designer 2006 - 2007

Worked with engineers to modify designs to cut costs and tooling for machined and sheet metal parts. Worked with engineers for new options for product and customer requests. Light design of machined and sheet metal parts – created part and assembly models with accompanied detail drawings and exploded isometric drawings.

Timken - Contract Design/Drafter 4/06 – 6/06

Created start parts and drawings for supplier turn drawings to be outsourced

Axcelis/Indepth Design, - Contract Designer 2/05 – 4/06

Contract Designer –Liason between consultant and Axcelis. Working with design and manufacturing engineers on the frame and facilities portion of project. Created piping for facilities module. Implemented process drawings for module assembly drawings. Created ECO’s for prototype changes

Contract Designer – Create models from customer’s drawings to manufacture sheet metal parts. Check the models and drawings for fit. Check history sheets to create ECO’s to correct design errors and customer requests.

Worked directly with engineers, PCB designers, and R&D assemblers in designing power supplies. Created layouts, assembly models with associated assembly and detail drawings, BOM’s, and ECO’s. Used Ecad to import PCB to check assemblies and pro/cable to route wires and model analysis.

Worked directly with engineers in redesign of new product. Used Ecad in creating raw board PCB design. Created new assembly models and associated drawings. Redesigned old with corresponding assembly and detail drawings. Used model analysis to confirm no interferences

Mechanical design and documentation. Worked directly with the engineers in the design and release of a new product. Created assemblies and associated drawings and BOM’s. Created and implemented eco’s on new designs. Created assembly drawings for manufacturing engineering documentation using Pro-Process. Added simple cabling to assembly documents using Pro Cable.

Electro-mechanical design and documentation. Involved in the design and release of new product.
