Project Title: “Study of Damage and Expiry in Staple food and dump percentage in F&V from procurement to retailing”.In this I surveyed Collection centres, Distribution centre,Processing centre and some of the food retail outlets. This project was done in different zones in Hyderabad.

Project Objectives:

1) To study the supply chain network of Staples and F & V practically

2) To study the functioning of Processing centre and Dry DC & Wet DC of ABRL

3) To study the Rejection % and Processed losses in RPC

4) To meet with store managers and discuss with them the reasons for losses in stores

5) To work out about main SKU in Staple food getting damage and give Recommendation

6) To assess about main SKU in F&V in ABRL stores getting maximum dump and find reasons behind it

7) An analysis of footfall and catchment of Aditya Birla More stores operating in Hyderabad in order to determine their performance based on indicators like sale, sale per sq. feet,gross margin,shrinkage and dumping

8) To analyse the factors influencing the purchase of staples and F & V from retail store
