Professional Summary:

Working as Junior Faculty at ATC Automotive CADD Training Centre, Chennai, since November 2014.

Gained knowledge in modeling, sheet-metal design, Advanced surfacing techniques in Creo 2.0 – a leading parametric modeling software.

Have worked in a Reverse Engineering project on an Automotive Infotainment product.

Delivered training on Tooling subjects like Plastic part design, Injection Mold Design.

1. Design of Audio, Video infotainment system of Car

Worked at: ATC Automotive CADD Training Center, Chennai in a team of 3.

Aim of the Project: Remodel the infotainment product in consideration according to the customer requirements and provide a proof of concept for consideration in a newer version model.

Scope of work done: New concept generation for the product. Modification, Modeling and detailing of outer plastic shell, sheet metal - rear support structures using Creo Parametric 2.0

Academic Projects:

M.Tech Project

Title: Part Analysis and Development of Injection Mould for Office Furniture Component Nylon Shoe

Company: MACRO PRECISE, Bangalore

Role: Project Trainee

The prime objective is to design the Injection Mould tool which can produce a good quality component economically.

The injection mould design was completed aided by moulding process analysis performed using “Autodesk Simulation MoldFlow Insight 2013” software.

The details of the plastic material Nylon 6 were considered and stress analysis was carried out on the component using “ANSYS 13” software to ascertain its strength under the operating conditions.

The complete mould design was done using NX6 CAD software encompassing all the important components of the mould, and 2D drawings were prepared.

The final tool has been manufactured and the tool was found to work well for the production machines considered during the design stages.

BE Project

Title: Design and Analysis of Front Fender and Cabin Rear Support Structure to Suit BH100 Flat Floor Cabin

Company: BEML, Mysore

Design the Structures using CAD tools like ProE

Perform FEA using CAE software like Ansys

Read and interpret the results

Prepare 2D drawings

Academic Qualification:

A Post Graduate (M.Tech) in Tool Engineering from GTTC, Mysore (affiliated to VTU, Belgaum) in 2013, with a 71.58% (First Class Distinction) grade.

Graduation – B.E in Automobile Engineering from PESCE, Mandya (affiliated to VTU, Belgaum) in 2010, with a 60.3% (First Class) grade.

Passed Pre – University Exams (12th) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology Combination in 2006 with a 64.83%.

Passed 10th Standard Exams as the School Topper with 77.28% (Distinction) grade.

Other Skills and Certifications:

CATIA V5 completed in 2009

Hypermesh in June 2014 from CADDMAXX Solutions, Bangalore.
