As a Mud Logger my job responsibilities were :

Rig up/down, maintain & service rig floor, pit room & shaker sensors; & remote displays.

Carry out microscopic analysis of rock cuttings for lithology, oil/gas shows/cuts. Prepare mud logs (MD & TVD) based on lithological interpretation of rock cutting & correlate with MWD/LWD Logs. Assist Data Engineer in management of gas & drilling parameters database & make important interpretations. Make Final/Daily Well Report. Assist Geologist in preparation of Geological reports. Manage & maintain records of consumables & requirements of material.

Worked for Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids in Brunei & Philippines Operation as a Mud Engineer from Aug’08 – Oct’09 & June’10 – June’12.

As a Mud Engineer my job responsibilities are:

•Perform laboratory tests for drilling & completion fluid to determine various fluid parameters.

•Maintain drilling fluid properties with appropriate chemical & physical treatment.

•Plan & monitor activities that involve the movement of chemicals, drilling fluid, completion fluid & base oil, on board drilling rig & on board supply vessels, ensuring accurate chemical supply & consumption records in addition to maintaining a chemical inventory.

•Monitor & account for fluid volume.

•Assist in the development of drilling fluid program.

•Supervise solid control engineers, ensuring the optimum use & maintenance of solid control equipment.

•Run Hydraulics program & Monitor down hole drilling parameters, ECD, rheology & pressure loss.

•Suggest & implement plans to the client, achieving optimum results & save rig time.

•Generate complete, accurate & informative daily Drilling Fluid Report.

•Comply with Company & Regulatory environmental standards.
