DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A STANDALONE DATA LOGGER FOR
STRENGTH DETECTION OF A FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE USING MSP430.
HARDWARE USED: MSP430
SOFTWARE USED: Code Composer studio, Energia &Putty terminal
DESCRIPTION: This work implements a real time data logger based embedded system which will detect the
stress and strain in structural beams & bridges by laying optical fiber along with the concrete and by using a
light source and an optical detector sensing the values and its variations. The real time processing was done
using a very low powered (3V), low cost board MSP430. The future work is this data logger can be used for
sensing vibrations in automobile, loads in machines etc.
WEARABLE EEG SIGNAL ANALYSIS FOR MONITORING BLOOD PRESSURE OF SICK
AND ELDERLY
SOFTWARE USED: MATLAB
DESCRIPTION: Objective of this work is to design an embedded device, which can monitor the variation in
EEG (electroencephalogram) waves continuously and to help in analyzing his physical conditions when the
blood pressure increases. The EEG signal can be analyzed non invasively & which parameter of brain wave
is being changed was found out. The extended feature of this device is to inform his/her relatives or a
doctor about his physical condition, by means of an alarm or a message when emergency occurs.
2) B-TECH MAIN PROJECT : AUTOMATED CALIBRATION OF UNIVERSAL COUNTERS
USING LABVIEW (DONE IN “ISRO”)
SOFTWARE USED: LabView
DESCRIPTION: This project aims to implement a system where instead of manually calibra ting Electronic
devices, the calibration of device (Universal Frequency Counter) was done using LabView.
B-TECH MINI PROJECT : DTMF REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR HOME

DESCRIPTION: This project was successful in controlling the home appliances from certain distance by the
usage of a remote control operating in DTMF FREQUENCY range.
4) B-TECH SEMINAR TOPIC : REDTACTON
DESCRIPTION: RedTacton is a new Human Area networking technology, which is under development that
uses the surface of the human body as a safe, high speed network transmission path.
