Bradley University, Peoria IL Role: Design Engineer

Worked on a project under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Sam Kherat at Bradley University in the field of Vibration Analysis of Multi Storey Building using MATLAB.

The Project was successful in analyzing the relation between mass and stiffness responses of the building when subjected to earth quakes.

The project was successful in analyzing earth quakes responses in a 3-storey building

A damper was also introduced into the system which successfully compensate the earth quake responses.

Kerry Ingredients Peoria, IL, USA Role : Student Project Engineer

Worked in Industrial Assessment Center, Bradley University as a student engineer to asses energy and waste recommendations under the guidance of Dr. Paul Mehta

In this Project we recommended around 10 waste and energy assessments to Kerry Ingredients, a Food production unit, in Illinois.

Through the recommended assessments, We saved around 10,000 US$/ Year for the firm with a simple payback period of just 11months.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, India Role: Design Engineer

Designed a Lifting Beam for a load of 350 ton's as per the design specifications.

The designed model is converted into a 3-Dimesional model using UNIGRAPHICS as per the design calculations.

In this project, the Lifting Beam is Structurally analyzed for Symmetric and Asymmetric Loading of 350 ton's using ANSYS.

The proposed design was successful in bearing 370 tons.

Our Design was made to bear and being implemented at BHEL,Govt. of INDIA successfully & Hyd Metro.

UNDERGRADUATE PROJECTS

Defense research and Development Laboratory Govt. of India, Hyderabad Role: Design Engineer

Analyzed the variation of Stress Concentration Factor on various MS Flats of varying cross sections with geometric irregularities using Strain Gages

The project was successful in calculating the affects of irregularities in the machine components, and thereby predicting the Strength and Reliability of the component .

Lead the team of 5 indulging communication skills apart from academic improvement.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited Hyderabad, India Role: Design Engineer (Summer Intern)

Designed a 120 MW Steam Turbine Rotor using AutoCAD with an objective to minimize stress and improve low cycle fatigue life in the relief grove.

Awarded as the Best Campus Internship and received the Certificate of Excellence from BHEL, Govt. of India.

PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Worked and Awarded as the President for Street Cause serving the Homeless in the city.

Recognized as the best team leader ( of 100 People) from Street Cause Organization for timely decisions on the Impact Day.
