Sr. Certified Tech Supervisor/Certified Tech/Easy Tech Associate

PC repair, printers and network setup, and troubleshooting. As an Easy Tech Associate the primary objectives are to provide excellent customer service including, communicating product knowledge and common PC issues, and meeting sales expectations. As the Tech Supervisor, my responsibilities were managing the Tech Bench and the work order system, and training/coaching new hires in selling Staple's products. I've worked for Staples seasonally twice during High school as a Easy Tech Associate and have continuously worked for them since May 2012 as a Certified Tech. In February 2014, I was promoted to the Sr. Certified Tech Supervisor.

Contractor for BCL America doing nondisclosure testing on various hardware and software for BCL's client. The responsibilities are adhering to strict testing guide lines while recording each trial in Excel, logging any issues. This position required being detail oriented and boosted my analytical skills.

Western State Colorado University, Gunnison, CO 2010 to 2012

Student IT

As part of the Western State Colorado University student IT staff I assisted the IT faculty with computer and network related issues. Troubleshooting and repair of student's and faculty's computers in addition to setting up the campus firewall host checker, virus removal, hardware replacement/fix, tune-ups, diagnosing blue screens, and failure to boots. Maintained campus computers and printers as well as setting up a computer lab, adding computers to the school's servers, creating computer images, and installing the images along with general maintenance.

CIS Tutor

Tutored students in lower level CIS classes for my last semester at WSCU. Mentored students with programming projects by explaining what code was needed and the code's objective, as well as helping to debug their code. Guided students through objectives for studying to prepare for academic programming testing.

Computer Camp Instructor

Instructor for week long summer computer camps that taught middle-school kids how to develop programs utilizing Python for Disney's Panda3D graphics engine. Introduced the kids to new programming practices and language constructs while encouraging them to embrace more advanced coding principles. Updated the Panda3D libraries to include bug fixes and performance improvements to the graphics engine.

Peer Project

Participated in a group project for Functional Graphics in Iron Python. Responsible for programming Perlin's Noise for generating random textures and terrains. Administered a Google Code project that was used to make the project into one common code base. Presented the final work to a group of peers, faculty members, and the WSCU Celebration of Scholars.
